Housing Consultant

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Rate: Negotiable depending on experience

Swadlincote, South Derbyshire

Hybrid working is available- 3 days office based and 2 days working fom home

Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently recruiting for a Housing Consultant to join one of our Derbyshire based clients on a 12 month fixed term contract to assist their Head of Housing with the below duties.

Daily duties of the Housing Consultant consists of:

  • Line management supervision of team managers
  • Delivery and monitoring of service action plans
  • Completion of service and policy reviews
  • Monitoring of performance to ensure targets are met
  • Management of relevant budgets
  • Ensuring the functions of the section are completed efficiently and effectively in accordance with the Council's policies and procedures
  • Respond to emergency business continuity issues

Essential experience of the Housing Consultant consists of:

  • Experience working within Social Housing
  • Knowledge of tenancy services, activities and their representives
  • Strong contract and budget management
  • Experience with elected members of housing matters
