Are you an experienced professional with a passion for driving operational excellence in the housing sector? VNA Recruitment is seeking a talented Housing Business Support Manager to oversee key accountabilities and ensure the smooth running of the housing services.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage capital works programs: Develop and implement capital works programs, oversee contract management, monitor budgets, and maintain accurate completion records

  • Ensure gas/electrical safety compliance: Generate compliance reports, identify priority works, and provide support during legal processes related to gas and electrical safety

  • Monitor KPIs and performance: Utilise Ideagen software to manage key performance indicators (KPIs), produce monthly reports, and regularly update performance targets

  • Develop policies and procedures: Create and implement procedures to enhance service delivery and knowledge within teams, including but not limited to rents procedure and OHMS amendments

  • Maintain data quality: Ensure the accuracy of data across various systems such as HMS, KPI software, and contracts, and provide clean data to contractors to improve service delivery

The Experience You Will Bring:

  • Knowledge of housing sector procedures and legislative requirements: A solid understanding of operational functions and legal obligations within the housing sector

  • Effective communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively and represent the council positively and professionally

  • Excellent IT skills: Proficiency in using a range of software packages, including Microsoft Office suite

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality services: Demonstrated ability to deliver services with high levels of customer satisfaction
