Pay rate: £11.44 per hour

Contract: Temporary summer contract, starting 17th June

Hours: 5 out of 7 days a week (this may include some weekends), 4 hours a day, between the hours of 8am-1pm. 20 hours a week

Job Description: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to join our team. Every year we recruit for this contract from June to September to assist our client with a very busy period, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness within the facilities. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will contribute to creating a welcoming and orderly environment for both our staff and visitors to ensure five star reviews and repeat business.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers
• Ensure all areas are well-maintained and presentable
• Empty and dispose of trash receptacles
• Restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
• Follow proper safety protocols and procedures
• Notify management of any repairs or maintenance required
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Experience as a Cleaner/Housekeeper or similar role would be desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies would be helpful
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job as lifting may be involved
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation to and from work
