We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team at the hospital. As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in patient rooms, common areas, offices, and other facilities within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and sanitise patient rooms, including changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors

- Disinfect and clean high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and handrails

- Clean and restock bathrooms with supplies

- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly

- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as waiting rooms, hallways, and offices

- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols

- Adhere to infection control guidelines and protocols

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper, preferably in a health care setting

- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently

- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks

- Good physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Understanding of infection control practices and procedures
