We're partnering with a leading horticultural equipment dealer in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. They're seeking a highly motivated Professional Horticultural Area Sales Manager to join their team and become a master of their designated territory.

In this role, you'll:

  • Become a golf course guru: Specialize in sales of new and used groundcare machinery, catering to the professional and domestic needs of golf courses within your territory.
  • Expand their market share: Leverage your expertise and strong relationships to cultivate new customers and grow their presence in the region.
  • Be a brand champion: Represent the dealership and its portfolio of brands with confidence, ensuring in-depth product knowledge to answer customer inquiries.
  • Build lasting partnerships: Develop strong and loyal relationships with customers, exceeding their expectations with exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
  • Exceed your goals: Embrace a target-driven environment where exceeding sales targets and maximizing revenue is celebrated.
  • Work independently and shine: Be self-motivated and take initiative, demonstrating your ability to close deals and influence customer decisions.

To be successful, you'll need:

  • A deep understanding of the horticultural industry and its equipment, particularly within the golf sector.
  • Proven sales or service experience within the horticultural industry.

  • A target-driven mindset with the ability to consistently exceed expectations.
  • The ability to demonstrate equipment operation where necessary.
  • A strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
  • A professional demeanor and a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • A full driving license and the flexibility to work additional hours during peak periods.
