HOMEWEAR DESIGNER | HYRBID | HOME FURNISHINGS & DECOR | £40,000 - £50,000

As a designer you'll be experienced with making commercial decisions alongside your buyer and merchandiser. You'll have the ability to maximise best sellers, whilst identifying areas of opportunity for your areas.

DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to forecast trends
  • Feed the wider product teams with new fabrications, trims and colours
  • Commercially elevate and move best sellers on
  • Identify and source new fabrics and trims with the supply base
  • Attend trade shows, and supplier trips to source new fabrics
  • Be brave to drive newness into all ranges alongside your buyer
  • Ability to work into Monday Trade messages with any OTB you know your Buyers have to work with
  • Conduct regular market research
  • In every design you produce, emulate the brands key values and handwriting
  • Understand the consumer, ensuring that all product you work into excites your customers
  • Visit all suppliers to build and maintain relationships
  • Source and introduce new suppliers to your areas if required
