Summary

We are looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our stunning holiday cottages at Sheffield Park.

Hours: 4 hours per week. The main changeover day being a Mon and/or Friday, however, short breaks mean that changeover days can also fall on other days of the week, and you would have the opportunity to work other, additional hours if you are able to do so. There is some use of IT and logging of hours required and Online E Learning.

Rotas are issued in advance, and we try to accommodate other commitments where possible.

Salary: £11.50 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Internally you will be known as 'Holidays Operation Assistant'

What it's like to work here

You will be working within a large holiday team but working alone on a day-to-day basis. The team look after 14 cottages in total within Kent, Surrey Hills, Sussex and Berkshire and you'll have the opportunity to work at other local properties if you are keen to gain more hours.  

A full induction will be given when you join by your line manager the Holidays Assistant Manager, you'll be set up with your own National trust email account and given login access to input your hours and to complete training. A Changeover manual will be given to you to support your work at the cottage and on hand help and guidance until you are comfortable working alone.

What you'll be doing

On change-over days, you’ll make sure that everything’s clean and prepared for our guests to arrive. This will include making sure the cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming for our guests. We’d also like you to keep an eye out and report any repairs or odd jobs that need doing along with replacing any broken items from the store supplies.

Full Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) is provided for all teams and additional extensive measures in place to protect staff.
