Position: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Central Preston Schools Role: Providing Day-to-Day and Longer-Term Cover Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning activities across a range of year groups in both KS1 and KS2.
• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Utilize your strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Provide individualized support to students as needed, including those with special educational needs.
• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of classroom activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent role.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and school environments.
• Excellent behavior management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Relevant qualifications or training in education or child development is desirable.
