Overview:
Are you a skilled Biomedical Scientist seeking a rewarding role? Warrington and Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Band 5 Biomedical Scientist to join their Histopathology Department at Warrington Hospital.

Main Duties:

• Perform routine and specialized analyses accurately and efficiently, both independently and collaboratively.
• Analyze tissue samples to identify abnormalities or diseases under the microscope.
• Prepare tissue samples for testing using various laboratory techniques.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment effectively, troubleshooting technical faults as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and findings.
• Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and quality assurance standards.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a histopathology laboratory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
