My client in Derbyshire needs an Associate Practitioner/Biomedical Scientist with current Histology experience.

The Role:

  • Job Title: Biomedical Scientist
  • Band: 4/5/6
  • Division: Histology
  • Location: Royal Derby Hospital
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: Apr 2024
  • Working Pattern: 37.5 hrs/week
  • Shift Pattern: 09:00 - 17:00

Requirements:

  • Band 5 & 6 - HCPC Registration Mandatory
  • Band 4 - This role requires a reasonable level of laboratory experience.
  • Experience with:
    • Embedding
    • Microtomy
    • Histology microscopic QC (H&E, IHC, specials)
    • Performing special stains
