Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all hire desk enquires received from new and existing customers
- Handling orders received for the hire of vehicles
- Preparing quotes
- Allocating vehicles/plant to meet each customer’s requirements
- Invoicing
- Keeping track of plant on-hire, off hiring and ready to hire
- Producing and issuing hire contracts
- Obtaining relevant certificates for all vehicles and machinery
- Be the first point of contact for all customers and new enquiries
- Reconciliation
- Ensuring all driver’s licenses are up-to-date and valid
- All sales are to be followed up with paperwork and invoicing
- Approving supplier invoices by matching costs to quotes on the sales system.
- Ad-hoc finance administration duties
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Xero or QuickBooks experience is advantageous
- High level of numeracy
- Strong administrator
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Accurate
- Ability to prioritise your workload
- Conscientious
- Professional demeanour both face-to-face and on the telephone
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Proactive
- Confident with all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- £25,000 - £28,000
- Monday to Friday, 08.30 – 16.30 or 09.00 – 17.00
