Job Title: Hire Desk Administrator

Location: Holcombe, Somerset

Salary: £27,000 plus bonus

Job Type: Full Time, Mon-Fri 8am - 5pm

BPH is a leading supplier of excavator attachments for sale or hire. With depots in the South, South-East, London and Midlands, we cover the whole of the UK and offer next day delivery for in stock products. We also have a selection of used excavator attachments for sale, and we're renowned for providing high-quality products and a reliable service.

Job Role:

An administrative role to assist in the day to day running of a busy hire desk. This is an office-based role.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls
  • Ensuring all hire contract administration is completed in an accurate and timely manner including arranging all "on" and "off" hire's
  • Diarise day to day entries of all on and off hires
  • Arranging transport and co-ordinate drivers' schedules required for any hire and sales deliveries
  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve any customer issues
  • General ad-hoc administrative duties

Desired Skills and requirements:

  • Good eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player
  • Previous experience of CRM programme an advantage
  • Previous hire or construction industry experience an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Opportunity for progression for the right candidate
