Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Location: Medway

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent ( after 12 working weeks)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school community. As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with planning and delivering lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Providing targeted support to individual students or small groups.
  • Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional needs.
  • Contributing to the overall development and well-being of students.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school.
