Ark Conway Acadamy is currently looking for an experienced HLTA to join their team to work across all primary year groups.

Key Responsibilities 

• Preparing classrooms for lessons, including setting up televisions for video presentations and sourcing books and handouts for students 
• Teaching classes unassisted when needed 
• Planning and delivering learning and enrichment activities, either with Teachers or independently 
• Working with small groups of students or individuals needing special attention 
• Assessing students’ progress and discussing development with Teachers, parents, and Carers 
• Consoling students who are unwell, injured or upset 
• Supervising student groups on excursions and at sporting events 

Requirements 

• Previous experience as a HLTA 
• Proof of Right to Work for the UK 
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to process one 
• Must be able to provide a minimum of two professional references that cover 24 months.
