We are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support a Primary school in the S20 Sheffield area on a part time (3 days a week) basis. The school values empowering students' learning, striving for excellence and ensuring all students and staff act with integrity and respect.

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you would be responsible for leading classrooms while teachers have PPA time, managing classroom behaviour, supporting students' individual learning needs, building quick rapport with students and reporting back to the class teacher.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant requirements:

  • (Must) Hold a relevant Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • (Must) Hold eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one through Randstad).
  • Previous experience supporting KS1/ KS2.
  • Prior experience leading a classroom.
  • Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
