HIGHER LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANT PRIMARY SCHOOL

Rochester, Kent

Pay - £100 - £110 per day dependent on experience

A wonderful 2 Form Primary school in Rochester, Kent are very happy to offer this rewarding opportunity for a Higher level Teaching Assistant Learning to join their ambitious and successful team ASAP.

In this Higher Level Teaching Assistant post you will be supporting learning in a general capacity, across the school and you will be working outside the classroom in extracurricular activities. You shall guide pupils through their academic and personal development and help them reach their full potential.

The Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will be supporting the learning and development across the whole classroom, ensuring that they are working at a comfortable pace across all subjects.

As the Ideal Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Hold HLTA status/QTS or experienced being an unqualified teacher
  • Raise the standards of pupils learning
  • Work with teachers to plan, organise and support teaching and learning activities for classes.
  • Provide short-term cover supervision to whole classes on a scheduled and unscheduled basis
  • Relevant experience supporting pupils in UK Primary Schools and Education settings
  • Have the ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with staff, pupils and parents

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two recent professional references
