Role and responsibilities:

In this role, your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring a positive learning environment, engaging students through various activities and leading one-on-one and small group interventions. This role will involve providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These needs may include Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) requirements, challenging behaviours, and diverse learning needs. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating reports on student progress and collaborating closely with the Leadership Team to ensure effective monitoring and support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working with children and possess a strong understanding of special education practices and strategies. You should feel confident in managing highly challenging situations and have the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and understanding are crucial qualities, especially when working with students with diverse learning needs. Strong organizational skills are also essential to assist with lesson planning and classroom management.
