Job Title: HGV Technician
Company Overview: Join our esteemed team at our client, located in Teesside, as we seek multiple skilled HGV Technicians to contribute to our efficient and modern retail dealer point.
Shift Pattern:
- Day Shift: 07:00-15:15 (Mon-Thurs), 07:00-15:30 (Friday)
- Back Shift: 15:00-23:30 (Mon-Thurs), 15:00-22:30 (Friday)
Training and Development: No prior experience with alternative engine systems is required. Upon joining, you'll undergo comprehensive training, starting with an induction at the depot followed by foundational events covering all systems you'll work with. We offer both online and in-person courses to support your skill development, with the opportunity to progress to the level of Master Technician and obtain an IMI Level 4 qualification.

Key Responsibilities: As an HGV Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to the highest standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting repairs according to manufacturer's procedures
- Assisting in fault diagnosis
- Complying with warranty procedures
- Working collaboratively with the Parts Team
- Participating in road tests and roadside breakdown assistance
- Ensuring accurate completion of job cards and service sheets
- Maintaining cleanliness and functionality of workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
- Supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
Skills/Qualifications:
- City and Guilds, NVQ3, or equivalent qualification
- Completion of an HGV industry apprenticeship or relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with vehicle technology
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £15.50 – £16.50 per hour
