What you'll be doing

We are looking for Heating and Water Compliance Manager to be committed to the robust management of Gas Safety and Water Hygiene, which is crucial to the protection of all customers, employees, and others, or members of the wider public.  It is also important in the management and protection of our homes and other property assets.  The AP for gas and water hygiene safety is a pivotal role and a key part of building a safer future within CHP.  You will also be accountable for the planned preventative maintenance, test and inspection of all gas and oil-fired appliances, components and equipment, including gas service and supply and oil supply and storage infrastructure to all CHP owned or managed domestic homes, commercial premises and other property assets. 

  • To assist the Building Safety Manager in promoting CHP's overall approach to building safety and landlord compliance, specifically relating to gas and water hygiene safety policies
  • Review, develop and maintain CHP's landlord compliance policies, operational management plans and service risk assessments, in that they fully comply with and promote legislative and regulatory compliance across all aspects of gas and water hygiene safety
  • Accountable for validating data associated with CHP's records of components and infrastructure used to inform and develop work programmes relating to gas and water hygiene safety
  • Responsible for providing technical advice, surveying and contractor management support to the Asset Contract teams, and to contractors and/or CHP's in-house service delivery Operations teams, ensuring full legal and service standard compliance in respect of water hygiene and gas safety
  • Accountable for ensuring that accurate water hygiene and gas information is input into the appropriate management systems, and that verified data is used to provide timely reporting of compliance progress and forward works plans as required

Requirements

What we're looking for

  • Domestic Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Significant experience / proven track record of managing gas and water hygiene in a building safety context and delivering effective gas and water hygiene safety services to large and diverse portfolio of mix tenure properties.
  • Experience of undertaking options appraisals at a strategic level as well as preparing and presenting complex reports
  • Strong organisational skills in planning and organising diverse array of tasks and work effectively to deadlines;
