As a Healthcare Assistant at our Salisbury clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care following Diaverum procedures, ultimately improving our patients' quality of life. We're committed to your professional growth and will provide comprehensive training, including on-the-job training, e-learning, and access to our in-house education program, 'd Academy.'

Your Responsibilities:

Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining clean equipment following proper training.
  • Preparing supplies and packs for treatment.
  • Conducting health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
  • Escorting patients to clinical and waiting areas.
  • Serving refreshments during treatments.

Our Requirements:
  • Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health; Social Care or equivalent (preferably working towards level 3).
  • Ideally, previous experience in a hospital and healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and dynamic approach to delivering safe and effective care.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral + written) with fluency in English.

What We Offer:
  • Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday to Saturday, with 12-hour shift from 7am to 7pm (please note there are no nights or Sunday working).
  • Competitive Salary of up to £23,532 depending on experience.
  • Overtime paid at time and a half after completing full-time hours (150 hours every 4 weeks).

Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 giving you the required time to care for your patients holistically. Our nurses work a range of shifts including earlies, lates, and long days between Monday to Saturday (No Sundays) allowing for a flexible working pattern.
