Band 6 Health Visitor

Notting Hill

Job Title: Band 6/7 Health Visitor

Location: West London – W11

Salary: £26 - £28 per hour

Start: ASAP

About the role

  •  Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
  • We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Band 6 Health Visitor to join our team in West London (Notting Hill).
  • Providing the Health Child programme for 0-5 children and families.
  • Supporting safeguarding, attending CP conferences, core groups, early help, and mentoring
  • Home visits and clinics for Universal Plus and Partnership Plus
  • As a Health Visitor, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellbeing of children and their families in our local community.

You will provide a range of services, including:

  • Health assessments for children from 0 to 5 years old.
  • Advice and support to parents on child development, nutrition, and healthy lifestyles
  • Safeguarding children and working with families to identify and address any concerns.
  • Working with other professionals to provide a coordinated approach to care.

About you

  • You will be a Specialised Public Community Nurse and have at least two years' experience in health visiting.
  • Qualified HV experience with the use of Rio using the templates, good communication and able to support changes
  • Require a work risk assessment
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • You will also be passionate about working with children and families and have a strong commitment to providing high quality care.
