Reed Further Education are currently looking for a Health & Social Care Lecturer in Wandsworth.

Role: Health & Social Care Lecturer

Location: Wandsworth

Hours: Part-Time (Tuesday-Thursday)

Contract type: Temporary (January start till the end of the academic year)

Pay: £30.00 per hour

What the role entails

As a health and social care lecturer you will deliver courses and programmes in health and social care at various levels, such as diploma, degree, or apprenticeship. You will be responsible for planning and preparing high quality teaching and learning materials, developing and sharing resources, assessing and giving feedback to learners, and keeping accurate records. You contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance, and participate in staff review and professional development activities. You will also have knowledge and experience of the health and social care sector, and a student-centred approach to teaching. You will also value diversity and promote equality, and safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

What we need from you

  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
