Health & Safety Officer

Health and Safety Officer required for a well-established specialist supplier of Hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will undertake all Health and Safety activities across this companies established hire network. The ideal candidate will come from an established Health and Safety background, be NEBOSH qualified, be prepared to travel across the UK and will be based within a commutable distance of Peterlee.

Health & Safety Officer Position Overview

• Overseeing the day-to-day health and safety requirements for hire network
• Ensuring Quality and health and Safety compliance throughout the company using internal audits and monitoring
• Ensure the planned maintenance of equipment is carried out on time
• Completing Health and Safety and Quality workshop and introductions for new and existing staff
• Review supplier and sub-contractor applications and ensure supplier certification and accreditation are updated and correct
• To maintain the company's non-conformance & calibration system
• Monitor and measure Customer satisfaction and produce reports accordingly
• Manage the customer portals and accreditations ensuring they are updated accordingly, and all relevant information stored and uploaded in a timely fashion
• Travelling to all Hire sites as required

Health & Safety Officer Position Requirements

• Previous experience in a Health and Safety focused position
• NEBOSH qualified
• Fully conversant with ISO45001 accreditation
• Working knowledge of ISO14001 and Achilles UVDB
• Full driving licence
• Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee
• Prepared to travel across the UK

Health & Safety Officer Position Remuneration

• Salary £32,000 DOE
• Company Vehicle
• 33 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays
• Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 15:30
