Health & Safety Manager – Exeter
A fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Manager has opened up! A local construction company is looking for a skilled individual to take charge of the Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of various construction projects. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work on a range of exciting projects in the commercial, leisure, and hospitality sectors.

As the H&S Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the team and the surrounding community. This is a great chance to join a dynamic and innovative team that specialises in high-end bespoke projects.

Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance, support and training to the MD and all members of the team
• Produce documentation inclusive of Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Safe Systems of Work
• Manage the development of safe working processes, policies and procedures
• Implement, embed, policies, procedures & training programs in accordance with HSWA 1974
• Liaise with external agencies and regulatory agencies

Requirements:
• Experience in a similar position within construction
• Working knowledge of the ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 management systems
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent HSE qualification)
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and supporting regulations
• Passionate about Health & Safety
• Relevant driving licence
