Senior Health & Safety Advisor

Cambridge

6 Month Contract (option to go permanent)

The organiastion you will be joining provides the most technically advanced cranes and hoist equipment, accommodation and services to the construction industry. You will be a part of a team that challenges industry partners to work collaboratively in order to achieve engineered safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To provide local advice and support necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfill their safety responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the Business
  • To facilitate and coach operational teams on the respective engagement tools, which allow the team to engage effectively with the workforce
  • To carry out relevant H&S assurance activities, providing confidence to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes is being delivered

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Experience in relevant field of Construction / Infrastructure Health & Safety
  • NEBOSH General / Construction Certificate
  • Good information management and analytical skills to review and input data entry
  • High standard of verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
