JOB PURPOSE:

To allow Aston Martin to build upon the passion, skill and creativity of its employees, the Health and Safety department advises and assists in providing a safe place of work for those who dedicate their working lives to building the world’s most desirable, ultra-luxury British made cars.

The Health and Safety Administrator will assist and support the Health and Safety department in data collection, action tracking, taking minutes of all safety committee meetings, sending out follow up actions and managing the AIRS reporting system.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the collecting of the accident frequency data, records, and reports for claims and external parties.
  • Handling correspondence and communications for internal and external parties.
  • Organising and scheduling meetings and events.
  • Assist in delegating tasks to other Health and Safety staff members.
  • Being the main point of contact for internal and external parties.
  • Helping maintain the Health and Safety budgets, raising PCR and GRN invoices.
  • Manage the AIRS incident reporting system, updating and closing open reports.
  • Managing all safety committee meetings taking the minutes, and sending out actions to the owning departments.
  • Manage the purchase and delivery of PPE and safety shoes to non-production staff.
  • Ad-hoc administration tasks.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working within a busy administration role.
  • Excellent organisational skills of both self and others with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple conflicting demands on time.
  • Experience with taking minutes and notes of meetings.
  • Proficient level of verbal and written communication.
  • Strong MS Office skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • The role will suit a highly motivated individual who is able to build strong working relationships inside and outside of the department whilst maintaining a punctual and professional attitude. This is a busy role and would suit someone who thrives of a fast-paced environment.
  • We are looking to consider applicants who can support from either our Gaydon site or our St Athan, South Wales site.
  • This role requires attendance onsite, however does offer hybrid working on a non contractual, local working agreement in line with the business needs.

Offered on a 12 month Fixed-Term Contract basis.
