Health and Social Care Teacher - September 2024

Prospero Teaching is looking for an experienced KS3-KS5 Health & Social Care Teacher to fill a maternity teaching position in a secondary school in the Newham area, London. The position begins in September 2024 and will continue for a year, with view of extension depending on the maternity cover.

This is a school where students' attitudes to learning are generally positive and thus progress. The behaviour is generally good and Teachers here have high expectations and these are often always met by pupils.

The right Health & Social Care Teacher will be:

• Experienced with the UK curriculum
• Confident with teaching Key Stage 3-5 Health & Social Care
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Available from September 2024

The successful Secondary Health & Social Care Teacher will have the following:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A degree in Health & Social Care or a relevant subject
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Be able to provide teaching references for the last 2 years
• A fully enhanced DBS on the online update service
