Health and Safety Manager
MCR Property Group operate a wide variety of properties located throughout the South including managed office buildings, managed accommodation, retail premises and parks, industrial and warehousing and more; we have a position for a health and safety professional that will review and monitor the groups assets nationwide, mentor our staff ensuring that the group continues to comply with all current legislation and guidelines.
As a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager you will maintain and improve our excellent safety performance by providing professional site Health & Safety advice to site management which ensures legal compliance, improves our safety standards, and ensures we are recognised as a responsible employer. You will also support sites in the cost-effective delivery of facilities / maintenance services, with least disruption to site activities.
Duties for the successful candidate will include;
- Review and Implementation of the asset Safety Management Systems.
- Regular Inspection and monitoring of the various properties.
- Formulate and monitor suitable Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
- Communicate and present Health & Safety progress to senior management.
- Provide suitable health & safety guidance to all asset management levels.
- Conduct proportionate incident investigation and reporting as necessary.
- Conduct suitable and sufficient risk assessments where required.
- Conduct premises fire risk assessments and monitor accordingly.
- Conduct in-house training to asset management surrounding residual risks.
- Formulation and implementation of systems to routinely monitor asset safety equipment.
Minimum candidate Requirements:
- A diploma in Health and safety such as NEBOSH
- IOSH accreditations and or membership
- A clean driving licence
- Evidence of CPD
Preferable candidate Requirements:
- Formal qualifications in relation to Asset management:
- Asbestos, Fire, legionella etc.
- Asset or facilities management experience
- Preventative measures management
