Health and Safety Coordinator - March - 26/29k

ALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Coordinator with immediate effect, for our leading client based in the March area of Cambridgeshire.

This role would potentially suit a HR administrator looking to take the next step in their career, full training will be provided.

H&S Coordinator:

This role supports the H&S Manager in overseeing safety, health, environment, and quality aspects of the business. Responsibilities include coordinating systems, documents, and processes, serving as the department's initial point of contact, and driving compliance across all areas. Additionally, the role involves influencing Operations Management to align with the company strategy. Proactive measures are taken to promptly address any health, safety, or environmental issues, while also serving as a role model for safe practices and aiding in continuous improvement efforts.

Skills required:

Willingness to train and gain formal H&S Qualifications

Confidence to Train employees in H&S topics

Competent in Microsoft packages to include Word, Excel & PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Planning and organising skills. The ability to self-prioritise workload. Proactive and hands on approach. Accuracy and attention to detail always.

The ability to interact with people at all levels within/external to the Company.

Must have full driving licence and own transport
