Role – Health and Safety advisor role
Location –Based close to Downham Market, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary – £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Capacity of role - Permanent position

Our client is an established organisation who is going through a significant time of growth at the moment.
They are looking to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. Applicants will need to be proficient in delivering and developing onsite policies.

Main duties will include –
 To maintain, adapt and implement the businesses health and safety policies across the organisation.
 Conducting site inspections onsite
 To act as the organisation’s lead competent person for health and safety as defined by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
 To ensure the organisation complies with current health and safety legislation approved codes of practice and guidance.
 To work proactively with managers to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe working practices across the organisation.
Candidate attributes -
 Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
 Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
 A relevant professional qualification e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH Diploma.
 The ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
