Health and Safety Administrator

  • Location: Devon
  • Salary: up to £25,500 per annum
  • Type: Full-time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Devon.

Main Duties
  • Support H&S, conduct risk assessments, manage First Aid and Fire Safety budgets.
  • Maintain online system, provide regular reports to management.
  • Manage register, schedule induction meetings, provide compliance reports.
  • Maintain emergency plan, review logs, assist with fire control tasks.
  • Monitor and report on evacuation plans.
  • Manage process and compliance reports.
  • Maintain COSHH templates, review control measures.
  • PAT Testing, Audit records, manage testing equipment, test facilities.
  • Maintain Defibrillators records and perform checks.
  • Maintain register, conduct inspections, follow up on non-compliance.
Requirements
  • Great Administration skills
  • Health & Safety Training
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and implementation in workplace
  • NEBOSH / NCRQ Certificate in Health & Safety
  • Full and clean driving licence (with own vehicle)
  • Able to pass a DBS check
  • Good organisation, planning, multitasking and time management skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
