The role
As a Health and Safety Administrator you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Your role will include providing administrative support to the Health Safety Environment and Security Department.

Day to day, you'll support to the Health Safety Environment and Security Department and process all visitors to HMNB Clyde with the appropriate Induction Process. You will also:

  • Responsible for the operation of the Clyde Induction Centre, processing all visitors to HMNB Clyde with the appropriate Induction Process.
  • Administration and processing of SHEQS Documentation
  • General administrative duties, includes report writing, minute taking, filing, visitor notifications, ordering supplies (including contractor assistance)
  • Use of Business applications and reporting processes.
  • Support with the maintenance of the vetting register, ensuring employees are informed to prepare ahead of their vetting expiring (Faslane and Coulport).
  • Production and publication of HSE measures and reports
  • Other administrative duties as tasked

This role is full time and will be based on site at Faslane.

Essential experience of the Health and Safety Administrator:

  • Computer literate - excel, Word, Outlook
  • Great attention to detail
  • Very organised with great communication skills

Qualifications for the Health and Safety Administrator:

  • National 5 English and Maths or equivalent

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
