As a Head of Year, you will need to be a strong communicator, possess excellent behaviour management skills and, be adept at providing mentoring for students who have struggled to engage.

Job Role:
- Providing behavioural and pastoral support for a year group.
- Delivering 1-2-1 intervention sessions focused on improving behaviours and personal development and attainment.
- Effectively communicating with parents, carers and outside agencies.
- Working with a small team of experienced Head of Years and pastoral staff to provide outstanding support for all students.
- Attending safeguarding meetings with the DSL and safeguarding team.
- Ensuring that students are supported effectively across your assigned year group.
- An ongoing opportunity as a Head of Year at a progressive and dynamic Ofsted outstanding secondary school.
- Support from an established SLT and from the MAT.
