As the successful Head of Technical SEO, you'll have hybrid working split between the office and home.  This position could be a game-changer for your career giving you exposure to global complex brands as part of a first-class marketing agency.

Your new role.

  • Technical SEO Team Leadership.  Lead and guide a team of Technical SEO Executives and Managers to achieve client campaign objectives while maintaining high-quality work aligned with broader business goals.
  • Recruitment, Training, and Development. Recruit and train skilled personnel, conducting annual appraisals and recommending staff progression to support industry-leading skill sets.
  • Innovation and Departmental Development.  Stay updated on industry trends and collaborate to implement innovative service delivery and process improvements. Document and maintain technical SEO processes and guidelines.
  • Technical SEO Consultancy. Provide expert technical SEO insight and recommendations to global clients, collaborating with development teams to integrate best practices into website development.
  • Monitoring and Analysis.  Utilize SEO tools to monitor website performance, analyze data, and make informed adjustments to the technical SEO strategy.
  • Technical SEO Site Audits.  Conduct technical SEO audits to address issues affecting organic search performance, such as crawlability, site speed, and structured data markup.
  • Website Migrations.  Lead technical SEO efforts during website migrations to minimize impact on search rankings and traffic, ensuring proper planning and execution.
  • Collaboration. Work closely with SEO content creators, Digital PR, developers, and marketing teams to align technical SEO efforts with overall business goals.
  • Reporting and Communication. Provide regular reports on technical SEO performance, communicating strategies and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Business Development. Provide commercially focused insights and lead pitch meetings for new business opportunities.
  • Quality Assurance. Review technical SEO outputs to ensure alignment with best practices and overarching SEO strategy, avoiding negative impacts on client websites.
