Prospero Teaching are looking for a Head of SENDCo to work in a Secondary school near Bury St Edmunds, Starting in September 2024. This position will be offered a Permanent Basis.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Bury St Edmunds
  • Position - Head of SENDCo
  • Contract/ Start Date - September 2024
  • Duration/ Duration - Permanent
  • Full Time/ Part Time - Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Paid to Scale (We negotiate on behalf of you - moving you up the pay ladder, higher band/ more pay on your TLR bonus, sign on bonuses for every year you stay)
  • Hours - 5 days a week: 8.30am to 3:30pm (PPA time is included)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject
  • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or above
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • PGCE and QTS in Secondary Education
  • Be a Qualified SENDCo
  • Have experience as a SENDCo in a Secondary School


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK.
  • Hold an Enhanced Child Barred list DBS certificate, registered with the online update service - or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child related references
