Job Title: Head of Sales - Doors & Doorsets

Industry Sector: Head of Sales, Sales Manager, Internal Sales Manager, Sales & Estimating Manager, Cubicles, Doors, High Performance Doors, Fire Rate Doors, Doors, Commercial Doors

Location: commutable to West Yorkshire

Remuneration: £45,000 - £60,000neg + £10,000 bonus (uncapped)

Benefits: Car allowance, pension & 25days annual leave

Schedule: Flexible working hours between 7.30am - 5.30pm

The role of the Head of Sales - Doors & Doorsets will involve:

  • Head of Sales position focusing on a high quality bespoke manufactured range of high performance door systems
  • Heading up the sales, estimating and customer services team (6 current direct reports)
  • Selling into fit out contractors, sub-contractors and main contractors
  • Setting KPIs for the sales team and supporting the team to ensure they’re achieved
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth
  • 80% of sales will be new business opportunities
  • 20% will be key account management of accounts spending up to £300k per year
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management review
  • Targeted with turning over £1m turnover individually and ensure the company does £4m+
  • Average order values are £10,000 - £12,000
  • Occasional client visits nationally

The ideal applicant will be a Head of Sales - Doors & Doorsets with:

  • Must have proven sales management experience with the construction or manufacturing market sectors
  • Ideally dealt with main contractors, sub-contractors and fit out contractors
  • Hungry individual who has ambitions to run their own business
  • Experienced in developing sales teams and company revenue
  • Hands on individual who’s willing to be in and around the team
  • Must be commercially astute
  • Robust, positive outlook and team player (able to cope well under pressure)
