Drive segmented marketing plans, champion brand integrity, and collaborate with Product Development for market-led innovations. Influence stakeholders, from partners to internal teams, to achieve commercial success.

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Work with the Partner Acquisition and Development and B2B marketing teams to develop and input into data led propositions for use in tenders and pitches.
  • Based on customer insight define the product brand strategy, proposition, positioning and customer and market segmentation priorities for new business/product opportunities
  • Take accountability for clearly articulating the product value proposition, in the context of different customer segments, through engaging, effective, consistent, and compliant messaging and creative. at each touchpoint and through all appropriate marketing channels.
  • Utilising market insight and customer data be responsible for leading the development of annual product marketing plans to meet and/or exceed business goals and achieve the business vision. The plans should be regularly reviewed and refined considering changing conditions.
  • Based on customer insight and demand, and working with sales and product development colleagues, actively identify up/cross sell opportunities and new product innovations or extensions to maximise commercial ROI and grow student numbers/yield.
  • Champion our products and customers and continually seek to improve the customer experience.
  • Identify appropriate metrics and take responsibility for regularly reporting on progress against agreed KPIs. If necessary, create mitigating action plans to ensure targets are met.
  • Manage the use data analytics and student insights to inform creative and messaging.
  • Conduct and disseminate insights from regular post-campaign reviews including results, lessons learned and sharing best practices.
  • Take responsibility for tracking and analysing market trends and competitors to maintain competitive advantage in the positioning of our products within key markets.
  • Manage the marketing relationship with new university partners ensuring regular communication with key university stakeholders.
  • Ensure changing partner needs and business goals are managed and responded to effectively.
  • Champion new products and university brands within the Marketing, Sales and Admissions organisation.
  • Drive engagement through the funnel from awareness, generation, nurture to conversion developing tactics, content and design which responds to each point of the customer journey.
  • Regularly review and report on progress against pipeline targets and develop corrective action plans as required.
  • Take ownership of highly effective integrated product marketing campaigns across all channels, ensuring all marketing activities meet our brand and customer promise to deliver on the business targets.
  • Brief in and oversee the creation and implementation of marketing & sales enablement assets, and campaign activity ensuring ROI is defined and measured for each activity.
  • Work with Corporate Comms and External Affairs to ensure that thought leadership articles, blog posts etc. are created which support the rationale for new products and services and provide a compelling narrative to support GTM activity.
  • Participate in marketing projects as required including the effective planning of projects to deliver business and stakeholder needs.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience of marketing higher education products or programmes - preferably in the international higher education sector
  • Team management, development and engagement
  • Experience in managing and delivering "go to market" strategy / plans and new product launches for multiple customer segments
  • Strong product marketing experience, developing customer-led compelling differentiated value propositions
  • Strong product, brand, and digital marketing expertise in a B2B and B2C environment
  • Experience in working with, influencing and managing range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of managing and delivering multiple priorities to tight deadlines
  • An understanding of what creates a great customer experience
  • Excellent collaboration, strategic planning and presentation skills
