We are representing a prestigious and rapidly expanding Financial Advisory Practice based in London. Role Overview:

We are currently seeking an exceptional Head of Paraplanning to join our client's dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 15+ Paraplanners, ensuring the delivery of top-quality, accurate, and compliant financial advice documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Paraplanners to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Oversee the creation and review of comprehensive financial planning reports and recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Financial Advisers, Operations, and Compliance teams to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
  • Develop and implement training initiatives to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of the Paraplanning team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices to inform strategic decision-making and foster innovation within the Paraplanning function.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in financial services, with a proven track record in Paraplanning.
  • Demonstrated success in managing a sizable team of Paraplanners.
  • Strong technical acumen and in-depth knowledge of a wide range of financial products.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks governing financial advice.
  • Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with a knack for inspiring and motivating others.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for process improvement.
  • Candidates must be qualified to DipPFS level as a minimum, ideally working towards Chartered.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: £70,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
