We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of MFL to lead a Schools' French and Spanish department. As the Head of MFL, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality language education to our students.
Your new role
- Leading and managing the MFL department- Developing and implementing the MFL curriculum
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality French and Spanish education to students
- Monitoring student progress and implementing intervention strategies as required
- Supporting and mentoring MFL teachers
- Managing departmental resources effectively
- Liaising with parents and stakeholders as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified teacher status- Significant experience teaching French and Spanish
- Proven leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective educational strategies
- Strong organisational and time management skills

Contract: 1 year

Location: School near Durham

Working Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, Full-time (8:30am - 3:30pm)
