Head of Marketing

£50k-60k

Can be remote, there is an opportunity to visit the Bristol office once a week, but this arrangement could be flexible for the right person.

Hours are only 32 per week but your paid for 37.5 though!

Unlimited holiday (some team members are already taking 7 weeks per year!)

Brilliant newly created Head of Marketing opportunity for a scale up accountancy/SaaS organisation who are looking to grow their UK presence.

Rarely available Head of Marketing role where you can truly create the marketing strategy from scratch and start to assemble your marketing team around you. It’s like the DREAM job! Fabulous culture - task based as opposed to time based.

Dynamic and experienced Head of Marketing required to create a marketing team from the ground up. You’ll be passionate about technology and possess a strategic mindset to create and drive effective marketing initiatives. Comfortable working on your own in the beginning in the UK, whilst enjoying the support of the wider group marketing function; play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the brand, generate leads, and support sales efforts. Over time there is the genuine opportunity to progress to Marketing Director in the UK as you build your team around you.

Areas you’ll kick start with:

Decide how the initial spend of marketing budget will be used

Create an outline marketing plan for the rest of 2024

Implement the marketing plans yourself initially until you develop your marketing team

Understand the advantages and potential pitfalls of starting a Marketing function entirely from scratch and be able to talk sensibly and confidently about how you’d would approach that task

What you’ll need:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus

Proven experience in B2B & B2C marketing, preferably in the software/technology industry

Previous experience with finance management systems would be preferred but not essential

In-house experience essential

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing marketing team.

Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute marketing plans

Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.

Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Have experience of working in a fully remote environment and delivering on targets without extensive supervision

Confidence in managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders

Able to confidently recommend PR, Marketing and digital agencies to collaborate with.

Benefits

Full time role but you only work 32 hours per week, this can be done within 4 days or shorter hours split over 5 days.

Fully remote with opportunity to work in a North Bristol office (ideally once a week but this is flexible)

Unlimited holiday allowance based on achieving targets.
