Head of HR - up £50k

Are you working in as a senior HR professional looking to join a company who where you have the autonomy to put your own stamp on things and work in an organisation that truly does care about the people?

I am currently exclusively partnering with an outstanding business in the public sector, actively on the lookout a Head of People in Bradford

The role is a unique chance to lead the HR function and is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to really make an impact. You'll be reporting directly to the CEO.

Role:

  • Overall responsibility for the HR function
  • Management of the small HR team
  • Work with colleagues to develop and implement outstanding onboarding processes, wellbeing policies & procedures a coaching model
  • Liaise with our external HR partner to address HR issues that arise
  • To support and coach managers with a range of ER related cases
  • Develop and embed happy workplace principles and ensure staff are supported and empowered to fulfil their roles
  • Develop our recruitment processes to attract the best candidates for all roles ensuring compliance with safer recruitment practices
  • Manage safeguarding concerns appropriate to your role and level of training including ensuring all safer recruitment practices are adhered too

Ideal Candidate

  • Ideally CIPD level 7 or working towards or equivalent
  • Experience in safer recruitment practices
  • HR Generalist background
  • Experience of managing/ coaching staff teams
