Head of Heath and Safety

Job Title: Head Off Health & Safety  

Salary:  £30 - £35 per hour

Location: St Albans / WGC

Contract: Temporary – initially 3 months

Hours: Monday to Thursday – 8.30am to 5pm – Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm (37.5 hours)

The successful candidate will need to have previous Health and Safety and be qualified to NEBOSH.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proven experience in Health and Safety Management
• Minimum NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 or equivalent
• Knowledge of ISO
• Knowledge of COSHH system requirements is desirable.
•  Full UK Drivers licence to drive to local other site
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Proficient user of all MS Office including; Excel, Word, and Outlook etc
• Assurance works

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compliance and audits
• Awareness in legislation and advise employee and managers.
• Implement the health and safety management system.
• Ensure all documentation is controlled.
• Monitor compliance adhering to company policies
• Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are currently reported and investigated
• Undertake internal audits and produce findings in reports
• Facilities and site management
