Our client is a well-established sales & marketing specialist with a turnover of over £60m. With a substantial market presence, they have a robust workforce committed to providing top-tier services. Based in Windsor, the hiring manager is looking for an experienced FP&A specialist that can lead the newly created FP&A department.

Description

As the Head of FP&A, the successful candidate will lead the FP&A function with a short term focus on creating a range of processes across the FP&A function alongside building out a small FP&A team to provide commercial support to the UK managing director.

• Lead the FP&A team to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
• Prepare detailed reports on financial performance for senior management.
• Coordinate with other team members to develop financial forecasts.
• Lead budgeting & forecasting for the group.
• Implement policies and procedures to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Identify trends and recommend actions to optimise costs and improve financial performance.
• Support management decision-making with relevant financial data.
• Develop performance measures and monitoring systems.

Profile

A successful Head of FP&A should have:

• An academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within FP&A.
• Strong financial and accounting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and team management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
