Head of Finance | Public Sector | Permanent | Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a North West based Public Sector organisation who are looking to identify a Head of Finance to join their established team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Finance professional looking to take a step up to their first Head of Finance post, or for an experienced Head of Finance looking to add value to a reputable organisation.

Duties;

• Providing strong leadership to a high performing Finance team
• Leading the organisation’s corporate accounting and treasury management functions
• Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation’s Service areas, at a strategic level
• Demonstrating understanding of financial expertise to senior stakeholders
• Supporting the development of effective financial strategies to ensure statutory financial duties are met and the organisation is able to deliver its strategic priorities
• Working closely with and deputising for the Director of Finance

The person;

• Fully Qualified with experience developed across the Public Sector
• Strategic mindset with the ability to build key relationships at senior level
