A multinational private equity backed hospitality business is looking to appoint a Group Head of Corporate Finance. This is a brilliant opportunity to join an innovative business in a period of high growth in a wide-ranging role, leading a team and managing relationships with various stakeholders and investors. This person will report directly to the CFO and will own the corporate finance processes along with treasury, head office accounting and tax responsibilities.

In order to succeed in the role:

  • Experienced Qualified Accountant with significant years post qualified experience
  • Relevant experience gained in a complex, geographically diverse business
  • A deep understanding of transaction, due diligence, and sale preparation process
  • Strong technical experience and a good understanding of international tax regulations
  • Highly motivated, proactive, self-starter, with the capability to spearhead and take full ownership over workstreams
  • Robust experience in dealing with complex capital structures, loan documentation and transaction documentation
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, confident dealing with a significant and diverse portfolio that covers many assets and geographies

Responsibilities will include but aren't limited to:

  • Management of the central corporate finance team including training, support, mentoring and recruitment
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting for all head office entities, working closely with the Operational Finance team to produce accurate management information in timely manner
  • Produce the annual budget and monthly forecast for head office entities
  • Produce the Group consolidated accounts under IFRS and Manage the annual Group audit
  • Manage the Group treasury function and work with the Property Finance teams to produce accurate cash forecast and cash management reports
  • Aim at implementing a new treasury management system within the Group to improve cash management and reporting accuracy
  • Manage the Group Tax Provision process with the support of the external tax advisers
  • Manage the local tax compliance for head office entities with the support of external tax advisers
  • Assist in the negotiation and due diligence of new debt and refinancing
  • Working alongside CFO and Head of FP&A on review and upgrading of existing finance related systems to bring efficiencies to the team and the closing timeline
