Eaton Syalon are recruiting a Head of Finance on an exclusive basis for our client based in Derby

£65,000 - £75,000/annum + Benefits package (Bonus, Pension)

Our client is a highly successful specialist SME manufacturing business in Derby. With exceptional year on year growth and further growth plans including an upcoming acquisition this is an incredibly exciting time to join them as Head of Finance within a supportive working culture.

As a key partner to the Managing Director you will lead a small finance team and be responsible for all day to day Financial Management, internal and external reporting, and strategic financial guidance.

The Role

• Strategic support to MD & SLT
• Prepare monthly management accounts and oversee month-end accounting
• Manage working capital, cash-flow, and manage bank relationships
• Budgetary planning and forecasting including annual budget
• Develop and lead financial reporting processes
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and legislation including annual audit/tax prep
• Implementing robust Reporting
• Manage stakeholder relationships with HMRC, auditors, banking, and investors
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities at all levels

The candidate

Our client is seeking a suitably qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with with strong tenured PQE) and experience at FC/Head of Finance level. You will require a strong understanding of the manufacturing space with knowledge of costing and estimating systems. You will have exceptional stakeholder management skills, strong commercial awareness and enjoy partnering with senior stakeholders.
