Head of Finance

RM Recruit Ltd is working in partnership with our Solihull based client to recruit a Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This is a brilliant opportunity to work for a fantastic organisation who drive positive impact change and advice through a number of channels.

The role is to oversee the Financial operations of the organisation and work closely with the CEO in producing accurate information.

Main duties include:

• Producing Management accounts with commentary
• Reporting key information to the CEO to ensure that accurate decisions are based on sound financial reporting and figures
• Cash flow forecasting
• Ensuring financial controls and reporting is in place
• Financial reporting to wider stakeholders
• Compiling the annual budget and forecasting reports
• Strategic Planning
• Assist with production of Year End Accounts
• Liaison with auditors to ensure the organisation is compliant
• Continuously improving processes and systems in place to ensure controls are in place
• Preparing quarterly budgets
• Working in collaboration with wider non finance stakeholders
• Business Partnering with external personnel and ensuring that the organisation's position is compliant and up to date with relevant legislation

This role is working at their offices two days per week with the remainder working from home. Our client will consider candidates who wish to register their interest in working four days per week.

As the ideal candidate, you must be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CIPFA) and you will possess good system and spreadsheet skills. Our client is a fantastic SME where you will be the Number 1 in finance and lead by example. Applicants who are experienced in running a finance department whilst strategically working closely with the CEO is desired.
