Head of Finance Maternity Cover

Reporting to the General Manager of UK & Ireland, for CSL Behring UK & Ireland, and as a key member of the UK & Ireland Leadership team, you will provide strategic insights and financial guidance on all aspects of  financial decision making, operational and financial planning, financial risk management, and investment evaluation to support operational decision making and drive commercial and financial performance.

You will lead a team of 1 finance business partner supporting commercial functions and have primary responsibility for coordinating all financial planning and performance measurement activities in collaboration with the CSL ATR team. You will be required to liaise with the Financial Shared Services team to ensure the process is running as intended.

In addition, as a member of the EU Finance Business Partnering team you will actively collaborate with the finance business partnering teams ensuring compliance with EU requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will be required to possess a combination of financial expertise, industry knowledge, business and commercial environment, strategic thinking, and leadership skills, as well as understanding of the CSL Enterprise and Global Finance operating models to effectively partner and contribute as a member of the UK & Ireland Leadership team.

As member of the Leadership Team, lead or engage key initiatives for the affiliate related to driving the Vision, elevating Leadership or Organizational Capabilities, Change Management requirements or Worforce Engagement opportunities.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week on site.

The Role:

• Key member of the UK & Ireland Leadership Team.
• Ensure understanding and challenge to drive financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Lead the Finance presentations in Leadership Team meetings and Business Updates.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision making and evaluate new commercial opportunities.
• Deliver financial targets & manage risks and opportunities.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the CSL ATR team.
• Actively participate in leadership team meetings and challenge the status quo where appropriate.
• Oversee OPEX spending, working alongside cost center managers to ensure the best return on investments.
• Lead a team member and support their development.
• Actively participate and drive engagement on projects focused on the improvement of financial systems, processes, and procedures.

Your Skills and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline; and/or:
• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
• Substantial experience across Accounting/Finance/Business Partnering to at least Associate Director level.
• Excellent analytical skills, with a high focus on delivery of financial targets
• Curiosity and creativity to drive an innovation and change agenda
• Exposure working in a Global Matrix environment.
• Ability to work well with tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment with multiple deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact with management at all levels, offering support and challenge.
• Proficient communication and presentation skills and ability to turn data into insights.
• Indirect leadership and ability to connect, collaborate and influence across the matrix, of local and regional functional areas and commercial functions
