Head of EMEA Tax - Supply Chain

I'm working with a global supply chain solutions provider to recruit an EMEA Tax Lead to join their tax team in London. This individual will oversee the direct and Indirect tax function within the EMEA region.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Advise on European VAT issues, and mitigate risks involved with regards to VAT.
• Advise on VAT cross border transactions
• Timely and accurate submission of VAT returns (UK and Spain in particular)
• Review of EC Sales Lists and Intrastat declarations for VAT registrations
• Oversee SII reporting
• Tax planning and advisory
• Oversee corporate tax compliance obligations
• Manage tax audits, enquiries and notices from tax authorities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 8 - 10 years experience in Corporate Tax and VAT
• EU VAT experience with a focus of movement of goods.
