R13 Recruitment are working alongside a reputable financial firm in their search for a Head of Corporate Tax to join their friendly team in their modern, Norwich office. You will be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Tax department, ensuring a compliant and efficient service and continually analysing departmental performance to make recommendations to optimise internal processes and procedures.

This is a full time, permanent position working 35 hours a week, Monday - Friday, with hybrid working options available. The offered for the salary is £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.

The day to day

  • Overseeing and leading the Corporate Tax team, ensuring a collaborative and efficient working environment is maintained, and individuals are motivated and performing to their full potential.
  • Providing training and hands-on guidance to the team.
  • Ensuring the department is compliant with UK laws and regulations.
  • Working closely with wider internal teams and board of directors as well as external stakeholders, maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Supporting business profitability and growth through actively identifying areas t o be optimised and refined.

You will have/be

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA qualified and a minimum of 3 years’ experience, particularly within corporate tax.
  • Pro-active approach and ability to analyse business functions to develop solutions to problems and improve services.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Self-motivated and confident making business decisions and able to work well under pressure.
